Cigar Vault East is an amazing establishment. A true Austin staple. At it's core is one of the managers Luis, who as we say is a Unicorn. An Austin native who has curated an amazing playlist to serenade your ear drums. Everything from rap to indie rock to alternative to classic rock there is music there for everyone.
Luis has an unbelievable skill to be able to recommend you a cigar based off your palate. Their impeccable selection of boutique cigars will introduce you to new brands like Definition (ribbon bands) or Illusione that will blow your mind. Luis also carries some of Texas' finest brands like RomaCraft if you want something local. Luis is unafraid to challenge the norm.
Now don't let Luis' smack talking fool you when you walk in, he is actually a super welcoming host. If you are lucky he will pick the guitar off the wall and grace you with his amazing musical talent. Playing covers of your favorites or playing his own tunes from his band GOOD. (yes all caps with the period) who are destined for the Billboard top 5000 (okay top 100). Luis is the man and is integral to the Austin cigar community. Make sure you come see him on Second Sunday of every month for a special event.

I received excellent service twice in the space of a week at this neat little cigar lounge. I didn’t have the pleasure of using the lounge, but it had a very welcoming atmosphere and the patrons seemed friendly. The cigar selection on offer was “boutique” – on the smaller side, but perfectly chosen to suit practically all tastes, with hallmark brands and more local products on offer. I was ably assisted by the owner and left with a delightful selection at a great price. It’s hard to see how there could be a better cigar spot in Austin.

Place has a lot of boutique cigar lines but I really enjoyed a mix of sticks I picked up. They have a comfortable lounge and outdoor seating. Staff was knowledgeable about the different brands and helped me make a selection. Prices are great and the smokes were fantastic.
