Absolutely love this Library. Great book selection, fantastic kids section, and I love sitting at the upper floor tables and doing homework. Parking is a bit rough, but the UTA buses have stops about 5 minutes away, so it's not too bad if you have a pass.

Go to the rooftop! It's absolutely beautiful. The rooftop alone is the only reason I went here. We got here an hour before they closed. The main front door entrance sign said the roof top was open. I was like heck yes ! We got on to the super cool glass elevators. Got to the top, and the dude working there said sry we closed the roof an hour before they closed the library it was 4:20! I explained to the very nice dude that we came all the way from Denver; and, the top 10 things in Salt Lake city I wanted to see and do was go to the ROOF TOP AT THE PUBLIC LIBRARY. He decided to let us up and outside the rooftop for 5 minutes. I got to scope it out and get my epic photos of the beautiful mountain views. I learned that the mountains here in downtown Salt Lake City are better than Denvers mountain views from our city.
