The Columbus Athenaeum, built as the Masonic Temple, is a historic building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was constructed as a meeting hall for local area Masonic lodges in 1899, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
The place allows you to go back in time. There is such grandeur and awe. I had a similar response when I visited the Museum of Modern Art. There is a rich aura that takes you back in time. Simply regal in every way.

Great venue for seeing live music. The bathroom situation was odd, and the building management seems to be struggling with some maintenance issues. The building was clearly not built for this, but it adds a swanky vibe to the events there.

Photo taken from the "nosebleeds"; still a great view and amazing show! Staff got everyone in and seated pretty quickly and safely. Some staff were a little aggressive about having your phone out at all, but overall, it was a great experience.
