Saturday early evening meal. Delicious freshly cooked pie and the best carrots ever! Perfectly cooked steak, and the largest portion of ginger pudding ever seen.
Lovely friendly service without being intrusive. An enjoyable evening all round.

Jim, Steve and the team are fantastic. Always excellent tasty food. Great gluten free menu. Homemade, fresh food. The burgers are the best I have had in years. Don't like to go anywhere else. Oh and super dog friendly too. Once you have been here you won't want to go anywhere else x

I had lunch here with my family on Friday and we had a wonderful time. The pub is clean and nice to be in, lovely garden, loads of parking. The beer was nice and good choice. The food was genuinely excellent, between us we had the fish bites, beef special and chicken special and we all were so happy with the food. There was one guy running tables and bar but he kept on top of things and was attentive and polite and looked after us. We will definitely be going back, and I can 100% recommend this pub! Also if you're visiting the area you're right next to Basing House and some nice walks.
Haven't been this impressed with a pub lunch in ages!
