We loved our experience working with Emily, Courtney and Melissa at the Crystal Ballroom! Aside from the ballroom being absolutely beautiful, the staff is so friendly, so communicative and so organized.
We had a very strict budget coming in and Emiy worked with us to make sure we could meet it. She also had so many good reccomendations and assured us that they had everything under control – which they did! The food was so yummy and the tasting was so fun downstairs at Sambucca.
We have literally no negatives – we had our engagement photos done here and it's gorgeous. They also have valet parking or street/parking garage parking for guests. Such a wonderful experience and so great to work with! Highly recommend.

We had our wedding in late March of 2025 for ~150 people. Food was fantastic, and the wrap around balcony facing downtown and the built in stage and dance floor for the band was major selling points. The staff was able to accommodate us eating (in peace and slowly!) by ourselves during the cocktail hour, which was really nice. We were also able to do a First Look at the ballroom before the reception started, and it made everything so much more intimate and special!

We had our wedding reception at Crystal Ballroom at the Rice and it was the best decision ever. We had a lot of questions upfront and they were always quick to respond. We worked with Emily, Mel, Bri, (and I know there are a lot of other names I'm forgetting here!) And they were so detailed and great to work with. A lot of our guests had food allergies and they were able to accommodate all. We had 245 guests. All our guests loved the food and everyone got served in a timely manner (with that big of a number, it’s amazing!) The bartenders were great and we never felt like there was a long wait for anything. The wrap-around balcony is such a beautiful part of this venue and we had amazing weather that weekend so our guests loved taking photos out there. The groomsmen also got ready in the Empire Room here and I love how their photos turned out!
