Went here for a Student Conference. I stayed 3 nights and would love to go back! Hotel staff was extremely nice and accommodating! My one light wouldn’t turn off so I called the front desk and they sent a maintenance worker who was very kind within 10 minutes. He switched out the outlet and was done in 10 minutes. The restaurant attached is really nice with a great menu. The food was delicious and they have a great happy hour menu as well! I really enjoyed the gym there. Very clean and had great equipment. They also have bottles of water and towels in the gym. I loved the layout of the hotel, it’s very spacious and gorgeous!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Crowne Plaza Albany – The Desmond Hotel last December with our family. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff went above and beyond to provide truly 5-star service. The property is beautifully maintained, comfortable, and welcoming.
We especially recommend the on-site restaurant; the food was absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations. It’s definitely a highlight of the stay!
A special thank you to Assistant Manager Shawn G., who was extremely helpful throughout our visit. He was never too busy to answer our questions and made sure we had everything we needed to feel at home.
Overall, our experience was fantastic, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Albany, especially those who appreciate a well-cared-for property with excellent service. We’re already looking forward to our next stay at The Desmond!

What are beautiful place. Its very deceiving from the outside. I was there for an event so I can't review the rooms. This place was super clean and well maintained. The food was ok not sure if the have a more upscale menu for different venues.
