Was impressed by this hotel. Better price than surrounding hotels, it is a small space but workable. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom and shower situation. For a Manhattan hotel, it was pleasantly quiet. The loudest outdoor noise that got through was the emergency vehicles but it isn't enough to keep me awake.
They have a room for holding luggage and I highly recommend using the airport limo if you're going to LGA. It was cheaper than the taxi and a MUCH nicer ride. Driver was out front precisely on time, the vehicle was very nice and the whole experience was professional.
I would be happy to stay here again!

I just checked out of the Pod today after a three night stay and I thought it was fabulous! The location is fantastic, staff is very friendly, and my room was great. Since I was travelling alone and knew what to expect I don't have any complaints but I would not want to have to share my room with another person (even if you're really close). There is no way to open a big suitcase and not much room to unpack either but that didn't bother me being there alone, but with a second person around and more luggage it would have been too crowded.
But the bed was super comfy, the TV was a great size, shower was good, everything there that I needed. The room was very clean (apart from a bit of dust on higher spots within the room) and quiet, even though you're right in the middle of everything.
The only thing I didn't like was the motion sensor in the bathroom which once even woke me up in the middle of the night because the light went on but I guess that's something hotels have started to do.
Anyway, if I'm traveling to NYC alone again, I will definitely be back!

Loved my stay. The rooms are great, cozy and modern. I got in super early from an overnight flight and was able to check in early at no charge. Later the amazing Sahar upgraded me to a nicer room and a higher floor with an incredible view. Thank you!! The location is amazing as well… walking distance to midtown shows, restaurants and a quick 10 min drive to Chelsea.
