To celebrate my 60th birthday I booked two rooms at the grand Brighton for my mother, two brothers and myself.
I was very impressed by the service we received from the staff from the moment we arrived until we checked out.
I was also pleasantly surprised that my rooms were upgraded to suites due to my 60th birthday.
The hotel is beautiful, from the exterior and especially the interior.
I expected the general atmosphere in the hotel to be more “snobbish”, however was taken back how relaxed and down to earth it was. I even started wearing my slippers down to the restaurant and bar. It really felt like a “home away from home”

The grand hotel really is grand. I booked us just a standard room but then I surprised my fiancé by upgrading us to a sea view room , omg if you can upgrade then please do. The view was stunning , the room as big and beautiful, it was one of the best hotel rooms I have ever stayed in and it was definitely worth the price I paid. The interior of the grand is so picturesque and actually visually stunning. We loved it and will definitely book again.
My only issues were I tried to book the spa for our stay but kept getting messages that the spa wasn't available during our stay , which is fair it's probably very popular but the spa was one of the reason we choose to stay , maybe next time we can get booked in. Also in the middle of the night our neighbours decided it would be a good idea to be very loud and noisy.
But overall we had the best stay , staff were great , room was great , hotel was great.

I recently stayed at this hotel to celebrate my 40th birthday and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made me feel very welcome, and the check-in team kindly offered complimentary drinks for my son and me.
I was delighted to find a bottle of red wine and a lovely birthday card waiting in the room, which made the celebration extra special. The room was beautiful with a stunning sea view, and I really enjoyed the coffee selection. The breakfast area was excellent, and the lounge was perfect for relaxing with a drink.
They truly made my birthday special. All the staff and the concierge team were lovely . I would definitely recommend this hotel and will return for sure.
