My stay here was pleasant. I did enjoy my time. Staff was great especially valet! Me and my husband came to celebrate our anniversary last week, our luggage was even helped with by a young lady Kendra in valet. I will never forget my stay here. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel like we were cared for!
If you are questioning whether or not to book this hotel or get valet, you should not worry further! You are in great hands with these amazing staff members.
Kudos to you all, may you all be blessed and have a great day.

Ooooooooook you guys!!!! Are you freaking ready, lol. I'll start with this, it's worth the stay.
The rooms are the worst part honestly. It's a super old hotel, everything seems original and it smells it, a little. You know, a little musky. But that's the worst part (!) and you get used to it (lol, promise) once you begin to admire the view and imagine the lavish events that were held back in the day.
From the moment you walk in, the chandeliers, the color scheme, the wood, the wall decor and old photos make you feel like you're part of a movie scene, you're in another era. 2025 out the freaking window.
Google it's history and if you're into haunted hotels, places, cemeteries, etc etc. You're in the perfect place. I dare you to walk the halls of the original building, 3rd floor past midnight. Double dare you to stay in the Kings room where activity has been reported quite a biiiiiiiiit! 😬🤪
Beds are cozy, pool is great! Nicely deep! 5 ft. Service at the restaurant for breakfast was amazing, super nice people work there. Attentive, in a good mood. Great service.
The bar, also high activity, was a saloon. It's crazy how small stuff was back then! Chairs sofas, pianos, all seemed small lol and then we realized that, that's because WE WERE small, humans were smaller right!? 1800's a whole other world! Lol

Right next to the Alamo (and I mean if you throw a rock hard enough you'll hit it) in historical downtown San Antonio! The staff were very kind and helpful and the place was absolutely gorgeous! They upgraded our room to a king bed which was SOOOOO comfy. No ghosts unfortunately but my husband and I had a blast exploring the place. Eli the night shift vallet was super nice and did a very good job (went out of their way) to make sure we were taken care of.
