Lincoln Park is truly phenomenal and such a gem in Chicago. The free zoo alone makes it a rare and special treat, offering a wide variety of animals to see and enjoy. Beyond the zoo, the park itself is beautifully maintained, with clean paths, lush greenery, and vibrant plants that make every walk a pleasant experience. Stretching along Lake Michigan on the North Side of the city, it offers both natural beauty and easy access to urban attractions.

The pond is especially stunning, filled with koi, turtles, and geese, and it provides a peaceful space to pause and take in the surroundings. What makes the experience even more unique is the incredible city skyline that serves as the backdrop, blending nature and architecture in such a striking way. There are plenty of benches throughout the park, perfect for relaxing, people-watching, or simply enjoying the view. Whether you’re walking the trails, exploring the zoo, or just soaking up the atmosphere, Lincoln Park is one of the most beautiful and inviting parks you’ll ever visit.

This park is great because it's near the beach connected by a bridge that spans across the freeway which I went across from the beach side.
There is a farmers market on Wednesday morning with many local vendors selling various of fresh produce and bakeries.
A lot of people finish running in the morning and shops at the farmers markets. It's clean and people are nice. There are a lot of greenery.

That's good for the morning walk or jogging because you're not even in the weekday. You can see a lot of people running. I walked there 7:30 and it's amazing to see the sun rise on the beach and then comes to the farmers market to enjoy some local gems.

Large-scaled urban park beautifully sitting between the lakefront and upscale residential area of Chicago. Wonderfully managed and enjoyed by all kinds of people. Absolutely lovely.
