Amazing how this extremely old and precious building for English heritage is being maintained by a small group of volunteers – which seems like a big job and requiring quite a bit of personal sacrifice from all of them. Heroes. Beautiful building. One of four of its kind left in the country. This one's the oldest. Contains evidence of an older Saxon church. Very cool.
Love the military history, although given local barracks being "repurposed", 2025 was the last time the regiment will march to the church on Remembrance Sunday.
Overall my feeling was that this is an important historic and religious site that is barely surviving and will be lost if most local effort doesn't come into it.

A beautiful service and church. Very friendly. I met the Arch Deacon who was very knowledgeable. I pray it would start a Saturday service 🙏🙏🙏
