The Kelpies are a wonderful place to visit. The site is well maintained, with restrooms available and a small diner on-site for refreshments. It’s a comfortable and enjoyable experience for visitors of all ages.
I would highly recommend coming just before nighttime so you can fully appreciate the stunning lighting display. As the sky darkens, the illuminated sculptures truly come to life, with the colors beautifully popping against the night sky. It’s an unforgettable sight.
Parking is free with a short distance walk to get there

This was one of my favorite memories of Scotland, with the huge horse heads popping up over the landscape. We had wonderful weather to view and take it all in, and if we had wanted some refreshments, we'd have been in luck, with a number of things to pick from. The grounds were very wheelchair friendly, and my wife was easily able to navigate the grounds and see everything that she wanted to see. Make this a stop on your tour of Scotland!

Huge parking. £3.75 park all day. EV charging areas not working tho. Friendly parking and cafe staff. Nice area to walk around. Was sunny when we visited so was quite a nice afternoon.
