I had the privilege of seeing The Thorn at the Kentucky Center for the Arts, and it was nothing short of breathtaking. The performance blended powerful storytelling, stunning choreography, and immersive visuals in a way that made Scripture and history feel alive on stage.

The opening scenes transported us straight into Rome’s Colosseum—capturing the raw intensity of power and control, and reminding us how people were once used as pawns in the games of empires. From there, the production moved seamlessly into a spiritual battle of angels and demons that left the entire audience captivated.

What impressed me most was how The Thorn balances art, faith, and emotion. It wasn’t just a play—it was an experience. The dancers, acrobats, and actors brought a raw, physical dimension to the story of Christ’s sacrifice and redemption. At moments, it felt like heaven and earth collided right there in the theater.

The Kentucky Center itself provided the perfect setting—comfortable seating, excellent acoustics, and a staff that was both friendly and professional.

If you ever have the chance to see The Thorn here, don’t hesitate. It’s more than a show—it’s a reminder of the greatest story ever told, and you’ll walk away deeply moved.

We have seen several shows and concerts in this venue. It's a beautiful space, and from what I can tell there are no bad seats here.
