We have had an amazing stay at this hotel. Great hospitality, friendly approachable staff, very obliging. Rooms are beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and have every amenity. Food is excellent and presented well. Currently having coffee in front of a roaring log fire – what more could you want on a cold winters day. Thank you Tom and Zoe for making our stay so pleasurable. highly recommend

Visited The Millstone in September 2025 for breakfast with my family. The breakfast was amazing, everything cooked to perfection from scratch, with proper poached eggs. Even the coffee was delicious served with flapjacks that were the best I have ever tasted. Will definitely be visiting again and would thoroughly recommend this character Inn in a fabulous location.

We spend New Year’s Eve at The Millstone, Mellor as a group of 14 and had a fantastic experience. The staff struck the perfect balance of being highly professional while also exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were lovely and extremely comfortable, and Rachael and her team went above and beyond to make us all feel truly at home. We would highly recommend this hotel. The food was excellent too!
