Very interesting historical exhibits at this museum. Back in the day, Welsh men worked very hard in the metal and coal industries, with our futures in mind. Just walking through this museum, I could feel the sweat and hear the sounds of the tools. Many people died during this time. But their sacrifices were not in vain, because we are here today. Let this inspire us to live authentically and to know that our ancestors will be proud of us. Entrance to this museum is free. There is a coffee shop on the ground floor and a view of the Marina from the terrace on the first floor. Near the terrace you will find an interactive map. There are many naturally beautiful areas to visit near Swansea.

I really enjoyed the museum. So insightful to see how people lived in days gone by in Swansea. A good variety of machines and beautiful displays. Look out for the old steam ships being restored outside!

An eye-opener to the vast industrial history of Wales. Visited near to almost closing hours but the crew was so understanding and welcoming. Beautiful exhibits. Also the space around the museum is treat to the eyes, especially during sunsets(and sunrises if you're an early riser.)
