Have a great time staying in the river house , unfortunately we are not able to stay long since we have emergency and need to go back to manila. The room is clean and very spacious. And what I love about the river house is this is a pet friendly place. My dog Magy really enjoy the place. Also the staff are very accommodating. Thank you for accommodating us

Found them thru watching youtube vlogs and right from the start i knew that the place is not a walking distance from Calle Crisologo but that was totally fine with me since we plan to drive in our car and also i found the ambiance of this place very family friendly and cozy. That was why i immediately booked for a room good for 5 initially but it went down to 3 since my mom and uncle was not able to join us.
Booking a room in this hotel was very easy and hassle free. They even agreed to refund to me payment i have made for my mother and uncle who was not able to come. They respond quickly even in FB Messenger.
Check in was smooth and quick, thanks to their kind staff!
We booked the River House Loft Unit 1 and it was really spacious! You will surely have a good night sleep in this place.
With regards to the food they have a restaurant cafe and they offer some set meal selections for breakfast. But since i already have an itinerary where to eat and discover more of Vigan's specialty foods, we were just able to try their food once. It was okay we loved their version of poqui poqui and their staff is really very accomodating and friendly – always wear a smile on their faces.

Extra mile: On our 2nd night we went home late around 10-11 in the evening and later found out that we have not brought the right key. I sent them a message in FB and they extended real effort to drive 15 to 20 mins from their home to our accomodation just to assist us and open the room with their duplicate keys. I later found out that the kind couple who drived all the way with the duplicate keys was the owner's brother and we are very thankful for that, they are really nice and kind people of Ilocos.

Value for money: Fantastic! It was really affordable with the cleanliness and how the place is maintained, it's really a bargain!

If we get the chance to go back to Vigan, we will definitely stay here again!!!

The house is big enough but there was not enough plates and utensils to use in their kitchen even if they know that there will be a lot of people checking in. They don’t have AC on the first floor(living room/kitchen) so it was very hot you really won’t enjoy staying in their kitchen and living room. It was mentioned in their AirBNB that there’s a karaoke but there was not. I love their restaurant though because their food tasted so good plus a good surrounding.
