I visited The Peak on my second night at Grand Hyatt Manila and had a very enjoyable and memorable dining experience overall.

I chose the five course signature menu, and the pacing between dishes was excellent. The waiting time felt just right and allowed each course to be enjoyed without feeling rushed or overly drawn out. Service throughout the evening was attentive and well timed.

The standout dish for me was the grilled tenderloin. It was full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and the addition of small pieces of foie gras elevated the dish to another level. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite, and it was easily my favorite course of the night.

The ambiance at The Peak is sophisticated and refined, complemented by a magnificent view from the 60th floor. The setting alone makes the experience feel special, and the attentive service enhanced this even further.

There are a couple of areas where I believe the experience could be improved. The Patagonian toothfish lacked flavor, and even the sauce did not quite deliver. It was the only course that felt underwhelming compared to the rest of the menu.

For dessert, the New York cheesecake was very generous in portion size. After four courses, I would have preferred something lighter to finish the meal. While the flavor was good, the texture leaned toward dense and slightly dry. A smaller portion or a lighter dessert option would create a more balanced ending to the menu.

I ate alone at the Peak Grill at Table 9A, the service was incredible, they always asked if I am comfortable, if I need anything else and the wait time was practically nonexistent, sure the restaurant is on a more expensive site, but for such an quick and outstanding service its a good price.

I ordered the signature Menu for 1 Person (4100 Php) and a Coke Zero (200 Php) and some sparkling water (around 400 Php) and paid 10% service Charge as always in the Philippines so in total I paid around 5100 Php.

    I had an amazing experience!

The only thing that made me really sad and kinda disappointed was the weather, I would’ve been seated outside which I requested during reservation, but it sadly wasn’t possible.

I would be glad to have another chance in the future, maybe on the next vacation.

I would recommend this for anyone, especially as a last experience of a vacation which is coming to the end.

We booked a dinner date here to celebrate our 5th anniversary. The place is elegant, and all the staff were very professional, attentive, and accommodating. We would especially like to give 5 stars to Sir Hero for giving us such warm and excellent service. He was very attentive and made our experience even better.

As expected, the view from their top deck is beautiful. You can really see the city view from there. The place is also PWD-friendly, which I truly appreciate since I use a wheelchair. It made us feel comfortable and safe throughout our visit.

As for the food, overall it was good. Our personal favorites were the corn soup and their complimentary bread, which were both delicious. The Wagyu steak was the best. However, not everything was perfect. The chicken dish we ordered was a bit disappointing. It didn’t feel special, and the serving size was quite small for its price, so we didn’t think it was worth it. The drinks also felt a bit overpriced.

For dessert, we really liked the chocolate mousse. It had a nice combination of sweet and salty flavors that worked very well together. They also gave us a complimentary cake for our anniversary, which we truly appreciated. It was a very thoughtful gesture.

Overall, I would still recommend this place. It’s very romantic and perfect for special occasions. We will definitely come back again for another celebration.
