Loved this place! Decent number of unique animals, with a wonderful habitat for many. My toddler absolutely loved the flamingo area. Was pleasantly surprised that the closing hour does not equate actual closing time – whilst listed as 4pm closing, you're actually allowed to stay till 5pm.

It was fun we went in the morning so it was a little cooler. We bought tickets online in advance as they are cheaper and depending what day you go the price is adjusted so definitely check online. All of the animals were out and enjoying their day. Staff was super friendly and was enthusiastic.

We had a great time at the Sacramento Zoo! We visited on a Monday and it wasn’t too busy, which made it even more enjoyable. There was a daycare on a field trip while we were there, and it was so cute seeing all the little kids.

My 10-month-old absolutely loved watching all the animals! While the zoo may not be as large as the Oakland Zoo, it still has plenty of animals to keep little ones entertained and engaged.

As a first-time mom, I was super proud of myself for being prepared—with snacks not just for my baby, but also for my little brother and the rest of the family. 🙌

Overall, we had a lovely experience and would definitely come again!
