There’s so much to see. So much to sit with and take in. I will be back to see the exhibits I didn’t get to see.
The wealth of information is extensive. Make sure you wear the proper shoes because there’s lots of ground to cover. Thankfully, the museum has many places for you to sit and take a break or simple mull over the art work right in front of you.
If you want to start with American History, take a right as you walk in. If you want to start with Ancient Greece and or Eastern Civilization, take a left. You’ll also find African American History to your right as well.
The museum has four floors on either side. If you don’t mind walking, take the stairs. If not, hop on the glass elevator which allows you to view the exhibits while taking a ride.
The exhibits are well diverse and rich with history. You’ll thoroughly enjoy yourself if you’re a history buff like me. I’m always amazed to see how far we’ve come and in turn, appreciate the many contributions our ancestors made. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Best art museum I've been to in Texas. They have extensive and varied collections from around the world. It's an actual museum of all forms of art, not just a glorified art gallery. I was there for four and half hours and had to rush through the end because they were closing. Would definitely do it again. I do wish they were open a little longer on the weekends.

I had a fantastic time at this Museum! I loved sitting and reading the plaques that had exposition and backstory on the item it was attached to. I kept finding more interesting things to sit and research briefly on a bench provided. I easilly spent 3 hours there and honestly wanted to stay longer, but my paid parking was running out of time.
I came 5 years ago and it was amazing, and it was just as cool this time around, even seeing some of the same artifacts. I'd easily go back to view the things I had to rush past!
I wont post too many photos because I dont want to spoil the fun of discovery… You should truly go see for yourself!
