We’re annual members and visit every couple of months, and while it’s not an all-day outing (we usually stay under an hour with our toddler), it’s always a great experience. The staff are kind and welcoming, the events are fun, and we love the early member days when they open a little early. Above all, we’ve had so many magical moments here, like the scuba diver pausing to wave at our daughter. It’s those little touches and experiences that keep us coming back. A big thank you to the staff

Such a wonderful place! The ocean pavilion is incredibly well designed, watching all the fish in the large tank is such a fun experience. I enjoy the touch pool area where you get to interact with the sea creatures. The octopus is very fun, I recommend going to the 11am feeding. He gets very active then. I had a lot of fun by the closer look table where you get to see microscopic creatures in the water they take right from the pier! Who knew baby barnacles were so cute.

Had a great time at the Seattle Aquarium. The unexpected highlight was a hilariously sassy, side-eyeing seal—I even grabbed a video of the look it gave us. The tide-pool touch area is awesome too; getting to gently pet the sea stars made the visit feel really hands-on and memorable. The Snowy Plover was also way cuter in person.

Exhibits are clean and well laid out with clear viewing windows, and there’s plenty of signage about the animals and conservation. Easy stop on the waterfront—fun, educational, and totally worth it.
