My now husband and I came in and stayed on a Friday through Sunday for our wedding with our family. We got the Marra junior suite. The room was very nice, couch and bed were both very comfortable. Closets were good size (I wish there was taller hooks as I brought my wedding dress and could not hang it without it touching the ground). Shower was a good size, water pressure was sufficient but definitely not noteworthy.
Our families came on Saturday, unfortunately with the line it took them over an hour to check into their room. Though we did not personally have this problem, it is definitely something to be mindful of given the time you plan on checking in.
My only major complaint: on Saturday we utilized Creative Bridal Wear (major shout out) to pick up, steam, and return my dress and my husbands tux. We went outside and there happened to be a bellhop with a luggage cart, he asked us if we needed help. We of course said yes as my dress was large. We ended started getting our items out from the backseat of the woman’s car (we had 4 items in total all wrapped in dry cleaner plastic – my short dress, my veil, my husbands tux, and then my wedding gown) my gown was in the trunk as it was long. It felt like since he did not see my big dress, he was annoyed with the limited items we were using for the cart, and then handed the items back to my husband and walked away. Incredibly rude. It was never a necessary service – we’re capable of carrying our items, but it was rude that it was offered then taken back.

Overall, the value for money, the nice rooms, and the ease of location with both the monorail and free parking definitely makes it easy to reccomend the Sahara to anyone coming to Vegas.

I’ve been a bit over Vegas lately. In the past I’d take 3 to 4 trips a year and have only taken one this year. Sahara was really pleasant. Never felt like too much of anything which is exactly what I wanted. Absolutely loved the pool area on Sunday, got a day bed to enjoy the F1 race and all the football games. The pool food was legitimately tasty and reasonably priced. My favorite place inside the Sahara had to be Chickie Pete though. Mainly because their weekday happy hour, hard to beat a 4.50 pint. Their smash burger was top notch as well. Our server was Maria G and she was really nice and helpful. Having the monorail there to get to the other end of the strip was nice but they need to have the escalator fix… can’t have fellas like me doing too many stairs after 8 beer and and a couple smash burgers. Can’t wait to go back, sooner than later I hope.

Lovely hotel, at northern end of strip so a bit quieter but great transport links (monorail station, deuce bus stop, taxi rank/rideshare pick up area).

Busy on check in, we got upgrade to a nice room on Marra Tower 23rd floor.

4 bars and 4 or 5 eating places , pool but we didn't use and 2 gyms.

Casino was quieter than others but ideal for us

Favourite bar was Casbar, sitting watching the gamblers, but Tangiers nice and chilled too.

Starbucks on site, free parking all a bonus.

Rooms nice only downside is no hot drinks facility in room.

Shower room nice, would have preferred larger refillable shower gels rather than the travel size ones, they did replenish but was a wastage of plastics in our opinion.

    Will love to visit again
