I attended my first concert at Tulsa Theater and I was very impressed, There was lots of parking options, most were free, The lot across from the venue had pleanty of parking even an hour before the doors opened and was pretty reasonable.
There were pleanty of bars and pubs in walking distance from the venue, we walked across the street to Bar 46. We walked in and were greated right away, asked what they could get us. We were there to see Sublime play and the Tulsa Theater and they already had Sublime queued up on the jukebox. Great atmosphere! We then walked over and got inline waiting for the doors to open, and were greated by some staff from the Edge radio station. Walked in and they had a very well staffed and stocked bar, reasonable options and prices. And Merch tables were set up in the lobby. Walked down to the pit, and its a very open space with lots of room. Staff was great, bouncers were freindly and helpfull. There did not appear to be a bad seat anywhere in the place and the stage was very viewable from anywhere you were seated.
They even had multiple bar locations for those in the pit by the bathrooms. My only issue was it was kind of hard to get out the front doors when the show let out, so they were letting people go out the side doors.
The open acts were great, Out in Front was really good! Joyce Manor was great and Sublime was legendary! Did not disapoint at all! I am from Northwest Arkansas, and we have several music venues in our area, with lost of acts that come through. I was impressed enough with Tulsa Theater I am already looking at their lineup for 2026 to plan on driving back 2 1/2 hours to see several shows next year!. Keep up the awesome work Tulsa Theater!
