Our one-week stay at this hotel was nothing short of memorable. This will definitely be our top choice for our next visit to San Diego. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming from the start. A special thanks to Jennifer, who quickly resolved a minor concern and surprised us with an amazing complimentary upgrade. The restaurant staff were also incredibly kind and informative, making our dining experience even better.

The location is unbeatable — the Balboa Theater is right across the street, where we enjoyed an Ali Saddiq comedy show. We were also able to walk easily to the Gaslamp Quarter, Little Italy, and the Bayfront.

We 100% recommend this hotel for anyone visiting San Diego. Fantastic service, perfect location, and a stay we’ll never forget!

Our stay at The U.S. Grant was excellent overall. The staff were exceptionally courteous, and the concierge service stood out for its professionalism and helpfulness. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We were here on business, and both the quality of the meeting rooms and food served was outstanding. The hotel’s location is ideal, just steps away from the Gaslamp District and a short ride to the waterfront and airport, making it very convenient. The only downside was the high cost of valet parking at $70 per day, plus substantial California taxes. While the hotel is definitely on the higher end of the price scale, the experience, service, and location make it well worth the cost.

I traveled to San Diego to visit a friend and can confidently say this place deserves a 10 out of 10. Everything was fantastic, from the breakfast to the drinks and the overall atmosphere. I enjoyed my stay so much that I didn't want to leave. The valet parking was a bit steep at $70 a night, which feels excessive, so keep that in mind. However, the service was excellent, and the valet staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Overall, a perfect 10 out of 10!
