The pub was warm and cozy, the Staff absolutely friendly, despite having plenty to do, they were always smiling and looking if everything was alright. Some Minor mishap with the dessert (Timing went wrong and my friends arrived earlier than mine) was no big Deal with everyone doing their best to bring it out as fast as possible.
The food was absolutely delicious and arranged beautifully.
I highly recommend this place!

My dad and I visited for the blues event on Saturday night and expected it to be crowded, but it turned out to be really cozy. The pub has a lovely sense of history and is nicely located, slightly hidden away. The menu offers proper English food with generous portions.

One of the best Sunday Roasts I have ever had:) I have planned a day trip to Dover Castle and this is my lunch break stop – Roasted Pork Belly is amazing with the crispy skin and tendered juicy fat. The side is surprisingly good – normally the roast will be with roasted veggie but the cheese cauliflower amazed me!
