The Wilmingtonian is a great nice old classic downtown hotel. I visit downtown Wilmington and this is been one of my favorites to stay at. It’s in a perfect location. Safe and easy to walk everywhere. Only 1 block of Front St. The rooms are suites so you have full living room, kitchen, oven, fridge and private bath and bedroom. There is even some rocking chairs in front of unit for you. The complex is nice with outside seating area and Gazebo. The units are brick walls so very quiet for being downtown. It was very nice on the inside. More like a small apartment than a hotel room. They offer free drinks (soda,water,juice) and snacks and muffins and pastries in the AM with coffee. Only con may be bed was decent but soft and the kitchen was sparse with cooking pans and things like that.

One of the best hotel experiences in a long time! Loved the one bedroom suites with all of the amenities. Rocking chairs out front to enjoy relaxing in as well. Walking distance to historic downtown area. Lots to see and do there. Staff was super friendly and helpful. If you want a charming place to stay that isn't like every other hotel, go stay! You will love it.

Our go to place when visiting Wilmington. They have dog friendly suites that are awesome! I love all the original wood flooring and classic decor. The courtyard is gorgeous. About a block from the strip, and consistently the best price downtown for a nights stay. Incredible service. Pastries in the morning and complimentary water, juice, coffee, and soda 24/7.
