Something for everyone. Ancient pottery, colonial era paintings and icons, modern sculptures and paintings. An extensive gift shop with many pieces by local artists. My favorite exhibit was this cheerful lady who has been smiling and greeting everyone who sees her for 1500 years.

Beautiful building with ice cold AC and a diverse collection of art. The Christian blood cult section was illuminating, for sure. We spent a little over an hour and were able to see the whole museum. 5/5 stars.

  • 4.0/5:

This museum is way bigger than I expected with multiple floors of art and history including an amazing Meso American collection plus modern and contemporary pieces and a fun outdoor sculpture garden. The only letdown was the gift shop since there were no museum magnets or postcards and barely any museum specific souvenirs beyond a few stickers.
