Brilliant tour of the beautiful Tyne Theatre. This tour roughly lasted one hour 30 minutes. We went across all of the floors exploring areas not usually accessible by the general public. The historical knowledge of the building and the area was brilliant. Out guides were very friendly and fun. I really enjoyed this tour and would recommend it to all age groups, however it may be difficult for those with access issues. Thanks!

Really enjoyed the tour of this wonderful theatre. Even though I have been many times as an audience member and performed on the stage (with an amateur group) I learnt a lot! It was very interesting to hear about the history of the theatre and to learn about the plans for its future.

Fantastic behind the scenes tour of this Grade 1 listed theatre. Restored to Victorian spec, the wooden scenery mechanism is the only one in the country which is still working.
