Great venue for the Candlelight series featuring the Fountain City Sting Quartet. We loved it and would highly recommend.

We had a Simple Ceremony with Ben — it was exactly what we expected “simple”. There are no worries whatsoever. Book your event using the online calendar, and you’ll receive a call with contact information. I prefer to communicate via text, and they were willing to accommodate. I received reminders and regular communication at times that made sense before our ceremony. Important things like “having a marriage license in the State of MO”. KS is so close by, some people don’t think about that and get their license in the wrong state. Our officiate, Ben, was organized, responsive, and helpful. The Temple is beautiful with plenty of places for family photos. We were able to take photos with a photographer before and after the ceremony. There is also very convenient parking. The free, covered parking garage is steps away from the temple — same side of the street — right next door. For the actual ceremony— you get to choose what type — religious or not, blessings before or after, rings or not. There is no need for a rehearsal because it’s truly “simple”: A few days beforehand, Ben confirmed we would have witnesses. In our case we we had the maximum 15-guests including ourselves. It’s meant for very small and intimate weddings. Our parents on both bride and groom sides are mid 70’s and didn’t want big risks associated with larger groups and covid. We had our small, safe family ceremony for the actual wedding with a big reception later that evening. I couldn’t be happier with Unity Temple and highly recommend.
