A friend and I visited the library because of their Family History Library Affiliate status and it was well worth it. I was able to access FHL databases that are otherwise locked when I research from home. We also took a look at their genealogy room and collection, and were impressed by the variety of resources available. Very much worth the trip and I plan to visit again for my genealogical needs!

Library is on the 1st floor. And there is a parking available @1.25$/hour , which I could not understand, if it's a library practically there should be no parking fee so you can spend your time without worrying about the parking fee and whether you should go there daily or twice monthly. I have no idea what was it like before covid times because it was my first time there. I always take libraries as places where you can spend your time without worrying about anything.
Library itself is really great, you must go there but have someone drop you at the main gate 😉

One of the last few trips to the “W” before it moves to the new location. If you have never visited this library, you owe it to yourself as a lover of books and native Omahan to go. My daughter found 7 wonderful books on the Titanic as well as a book about NASA and another on robotics. I found three great Jazz CDs by Alice Coltrane, Charles Mingus and Lester Young. I will visit this location as many times before the move and you should too!
