I absolutely love living in this apartment building! It’s a beautiful historic building that has been thoughtfully renovated with modern conveniences. The advanced facilities are a huge plus—like the package locker that open with a simple scan and the electric door locks. There is also an app that lets you remotely open the gates.
The building also has an amazing party room on the top floor, the views are breathtaking! Not to mention its convient location at downtown area. Overall, I think it’s one of the best apartment buildings you can find in Peterborough. Highly recommend!

I was a resident at the Y Lofts from 2024-2025. The building itself is clean, well-maintained, and in a great location in downtown Peterborough, also Dianne the building manager is great! She’s super friendly, quick to help with anything, and genuinely cares about the residents. You can tell she works hard to keep everything running smoothly. Definitely would recommend living here bc of the awesome manager who's friendly and efficient.

Dianne and Dan have kept me sane in this building. There was a secondary alarm issue but just in my wing for months but Dianne did everything she could to get it solved and after months it finally stopped. I have a senior cat and it was detrimental to her as well. You could just tell.
Meanwhile time has gone on and I’ve been lucky enough to move up to the sixth floor from the second. There were other issues that needed to be rectified in my old apartment and thank heavens I was allowed to move up here.
Through the last 8 months Dianne has been a solid problem solver as well as just listening to me. She has the qualities that a building manager this size needs. She listens to you but also isn’t afraid to say no for any requests that are not available.
Dan has also been a godsend. He’s helped me out with numerous tasks and jobs that I couldn’t do alone. He’s a great problem solver as well. And if he doesn’t have an answer right away he doesn’t forget about you.
The other thing I have really noticed is that the people in this building are mostly all really nice. There seems to be a lot of young people and they have been so friendly and helpful any time I looked overburdened in a hallway 😂 when I’m stupid enough to try to carry too much stuff in at one time. Everyone here has been just so good but I have huge gratitude for Dianne. I hadn’t lived in an apartment in 40 years. Thankfully she was able to tell me about how apartment living goes now and I don’t know what I would have done without her.
So far in all my experience here I’ve felt safe, the security guard is a must and I’m so grateful to have them as well.
I’ve felt welcomed. I’ve felt cared for and listened to and now I feel a part of in this building. I would recommend this building to anyone looking for an apartment. The gym which I use very regularly is always clean and ready to use. I’ve used the party room already and it’s fantastic. I need to use the bbq before the snow flies so the amenities here are top notch.
I do believe though that it’s Dan and Dianne being in charge that has made my transition far better than it could have been. Having the right staff makes or breaks a place and this one is perfect right now just the way it is. I hope it stays that way.
