The Yardbird Suite holds a special place in my heart — it’s such a beautiful and thriving hub for jazz lovers, musicians, and creatives alike. It’s not just a venue, it’s a space where talent is celebrated, and where you can truly feel the magic of live music.

As a parent, there are moments that make you feel incredibly proud, and tonight was one of those moments. Watching my son perform in that iconic space with his school band was emotional beyond words. This was one of his last two performances before graduating from Grade 12. He was the principal trumpet player for the band until his graduation this summer, and seeing him on that stage, doing what he loves, filled me with so much pride. ❤️🎺💐
The Yardbird Suite has always been a place of inspiration, and to witness my son’s journey there was something I’ll cherish forever. A huge thank you to everyone who makes this venue a reality — you are helping to nurture the next generation of artists. 🎶
