Just realised that I didn’t do a review for my first experience so adding photos from the first dining experience at Tatsu in this review too. The service and food quality both times were just as good! First time we were in a room a stone’s throw away from the shopfront photo that you see. The second time was inside the shopfront photo. Preferred the seating of the first experience as the ambience is better there, cosy and gives sense of exclusiveness. Food has varying taste and all tasted heavenly! There was better presentation at the large flat iron griddle plate by the chef. Not only was there fire show, he also arranged fried rice into I ❤️U. You can see the “fire show” performed by the 2 different chefs. Which do you think is better? Since the teppanyaki at Jurong Hilltop shut down. This is the closest we can find. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for teppanyaki experience!

It has been ages since my family and I had Teppanyaki. So we decided to celebrate my mum's birthday at Tatsu. We had the room to ourselves. 3 A and 3 B sets were ordered. We were greeted by a very friendly chef and she proceeded to dazzle us with her masterful culinary skills. First of was a salad followed by a very delicious cod fish. Next was the wonderfully prepared salt and pepper lobster which we were treated to a mini fire show. After that was our slice beef which was very succulent which also had another fire show. Finally the chef prepared 3 garlic and 3 seafood fried rice, followed by some veggies and soup. Lastly we had dessert and the restaurant was gracious enough to prepare a birthday slice cake for my mum. My family had a wonderful time there. A truly unforgettable experience.

Dinner at this Japanese restaurant was nothing short of amazing. From the beautifully presented dishes to the delicate balance of flavors, every course felt like a little celebration. We also tried two types of sake, each with its own unique character that paired perfectly with the meal. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right mix of elegance and comfort. Service was thoughtful without being intrusive, making the night even more enjoyable. It was one of those evenings where everything came together — great food, great drinks, and a memory to treasure.
