We checked in from TN to attend a family reunion in Tampa August 29th. We needed a hotel close to all schd. events, safe, nice rooms and no parking fees. that was nice, secure and I found Westshore on the Google website. The location was perfect, and close to all the events whic made it easy to get around town, including 10 mins. From the airport. Wow. We couldn't believe we found a place that crossed off so many concerns it was close to a shopping plaza, grocery store, drug store and 5 mins from Ben Davis Beach. Marriott hotels is where we had our family but parking fees were $50 daily! The cons were: no microwave in the room, joining room to strangers, no ice machine on the floor and toilet in bathroom too low for adults or anyone having trouble getting on and off without a handicap rail, almost perfect for children! However my biggest compliant was being woke up in the middle of the night with the noise of the couple in the joining room having sex! I will make sure from now on to make sure to ask about the room I'm assigned and never let that happen again, what if our grandchildren had been with us on this trip! However we only had another day there after the sex incident so there wasn't any sense to me to ask for a different room and yes, this is the first time I'm saying it publicly, but it was unacceptable to assign us joining rooms without asking me if I would have objections. In the future I will always ask at the desk before I accept the room. My rating was focused on the positive aspects of Westshore Portfolio Hotel but it had pros and cons but not bad enough to keep me away, I would just make sure that I would address all these concerns in the future before I book if given the opportunity to travel back to Tampa.

Great experience !!! The room was lovely. I just wanted to say thank you though because I accidentally left my kindle in the room and when I called they had it!!! I was able to quickly pick it up. The valet man was sooo kind and let me just hop out to get my stuff. He even checked in on me while I was waiting on housekeeping. Housekeeping was incredibly kind over the phone when I called about it and when they gave me my things they were so happy and nice.

10/10 experience. The staff is the best !

Also , their burger is AMAZING.

I had such an amazing experience at the Westshore Grand Tampa! From the moment I arrived, Shay and Jess at the front desk went above and beyond to make me feel welcome—their friendliness and professionalism truly set the tone for my stay. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and effortless.

The hotel itself is impeccable—the rooms were spotless, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. The location is perfect, and the included shuttle service was always on time and super convenient. Every staff member I encountered was helpful and attentive, making my stay even more enjoyable.

I would highly recommend the Westshore Grand Tampa to anyone visiting the area, and I can’t wait to come back!
