I was chronically homeless for five years and became gainfully employed at Cava. However, due to the fact I was staying at an extended stay, I do not qualify for Community First Village.
I have a friend who lives there and pays $415.00 a month, while I pay $1,200.00 making $16.75 an hour.
The place is beautiful, the rule baring me from getting in, not so beautiful!

These people are changing the world, quite literally. This community is one that provides not only daily essentials, but also brings people hope when they're at a low point in life.
Visiting here, staying for a weekend, and serving is an amazing experience and puts life in perspective. The people here are some the friendliest, and will take you on a tour of the property to show you all the amenities… kitchens, bathrooms, event center, theater, etc.
Come for a movie night or just to hang out. 10/10 would recommend.

Visited this community for the first time recently due to an event that was held on location. We attended the 2019 forging competition and wow did we have a wonderful time here! Everyone was so kind, welcoming and friendly. We were in awe of the community and feel grateful to have discovered this gem of a community; we definitely plan on returning and volunteering in the future!
