The Friends of the Hearst Center Board would like to recognize and sincerely thank the Black Hawk Hotel for helping coordinate every detail of our Friends of the Hearst membership appreciation event. The event welcomed approximately 100 members and was a wonderful success.
The hotel’s beautiful historic Arts and Crafts-style lobby provided an elegant and welcoming setting, perfectly suited to the spirit of the evening. Kenna and her staff were exceptional to work with, coordinating all aspects of the event from setup through cleanup with professionalism, care, and attention to detail. The bartenders were equally wonderful, creating festive specialty holiday cocktails that were both creative and delicious, and added a memorable touch to the evening.
We are truly grateful to the entire Black Hawk Hotel team for their hospitality and support, and we highly recommend the venue for anyone planning a special event in Cedar Falls.

Beautiful historic hotel in the heart of Cedar Falls. Rooms are quiet, cozy and clean. Decor matches the age of the times. Staff was excellent and responsive to all our needs. Highly recommend this Hotel.
