Real nice theater with a very interesting setup. Came to see the production of cats and I must say, MUCH better than the movie. The actors really played their roles accordingly and well and the level of talent displayed was epic. The coordination and choreography and singing skill was extremely professional and I’m proud of the Western Michigan theater scene.

One if my all time favorite venues! When I am at the state theater I feel like I am home.I have seen soo many shows here over the years. The security and staff are very considerate and patient. They just want everyone to have a enjoyable and safe time. I hope to see many, many more incredible shows here over the years. If you have not been you should!!! I promise you won't find a venue like this most anywhere!

Absolutely beautiful venue. The sound quality is great, and the venue is well managed. My only non-complaint is the length of the line for the men's room. Hint, use the upstairs restrooms, as the line is much smaller.
