Casa Manila is a small but truly magical museum that offers a deep and authentic glimpse into local traditions and history. The visit itself is relatively short and can be completed in about fifteen minutes, but the experience is rich and engaging. The entrance fee is fair and appropriate for what the museum offers.
During my visit, the staff at the ticket counter was not particularly warm or welcoming, but this did not negatively impact the overall experience. Once inside, the museum does an excellent job of guiding visitors through traditional Filipino customs, daily life, and cultural heritage. The environment is very clean and well preserved, and visitors are required to follow a clearly marked path and respect the antique objects on display, which adds to the sense of authenticity.
If I were to visit Manila again, I would absolutely return. Even if the exhibits remain the same, my love for history and museums makes Casa Manila a place worth revisiting. It successfully allows visitors to immerse themselves in local culture and appreciate fragments of history in a quiet and respectful setting.

Must-see for tourists especially when in Intramuros. 2nd time to visit, this time we got a free tour from the museum's guide in English around 30mins. WW2 destroyed most of the walled city, so this house was built in 1981 to give an idea of how an upper-class traditional house would have been like, using old parts from around the country. Guide's info tidbits were cool and showed ingenuity of the Filipinos

Overall we had a pleasant time touring the little museum. The place was well maintained and the staff were really nice. It was amazing to still discover a lot of the old furnitures showcased in the museum. I studied college in Intramuros and still to discover new things from there is truly incredible.
My one suggestion to the management is, I hope they schedule the maintenance and cleaning of the museum outside of the tour hours. There were a lot of times when I wanted to take a photo of a spot that had excellent lighting from the sun but I couldn’t because there were maintenance staff deep cleaning the place and I couldn’t wait for them to finish.
