Balcomo is truly a beautiful oasis in the the middle of town.
The location is central, steps from shops, beaches, golfing, walks and restaurants and yet when you step inside it’s like you have your own tranquil oasis. We stayed during the winter for a staycation to enjoy some deep relaxation and creative work time, making use of the wellness centre (which is absolutely phenomenal!) and the restaurant. From the staff at check in to the amenities to the rooms (soaker tubs!) and the restaurant …it is beyond all expectation. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone travelling or for locals looking for a staycation.
It is also a wonderful spot to host events and retreats! Cannot say enough good things! Thank you Balcomo!

Wonderful stay, we were in the tower, in a king room. The bed was so comfortable, I haven't had a good sleep like that in many hotels, pillows were just as comfortable. Our room faced the golfcourse which was nice. Even being right on the highway, we could not hear traffic. It was awesome! The room was spotless. Hotel staff was warm & friendly. Will for sure stay again!!!

This hotel is an absolute standout.
The rooms are spotless, modern, and beautifully updated—everything feels fresh, clean, and well cared for. The overall atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a great energy throughout the property.
What really elevates the experience is the wellness side of the hotel. The pool, cold plunge, sauna, and wellness centre are unbelievably good—easily on par with a high-end spa. It genuinely feels like a resort, not just a place to stay.
Add in a great location, an excellent vibe, and genuinely friendly, attentive service, and this hotel checks every box. It’s the kind of place you look forward to coming back to.!!😎
