Stopped by for beer and some food. Sat inside, the taproom is really nice. Food is served but for beer you need to come to the bar – which is completely ok. Staff was friendly and quick. Beer was excellent. Ordered nachos and it was enough for both of us. Recommended.

Originally started in the famous Old Aylmer Fruit and Vegetable Cannery building (historic 1930’s south okanagan facility) in 2000 by Brew Master Terry Schoffer and Ron and Pat Dyck, Cannery Brewing got its namesake after the iconic location. Fast forward to 2015, the cannery took over an old automative garage, passed the torch to Son Ian and Owner/Lead Brewer Ross Thompson (Siebel Institute of Technology) but kept the micro-brewery quality we all love!
In kitchen, Taylor Van Ryssel (Vancouver Island University, Bogner’s, The Nest) delivers chic-upscale twists on the pub fare favourites to entice beer lovers and foodies.
Hosting is Max Rutherford and dream team whom make you feel like family and treated like VIPs. It’s a refreshing experience!
Downtown and on the KVR, it’s the perfect location to visit after a bike ride, for happy hour, date nights or in search of epic brews! When you need a tune up, head to the shop and let the Cannery Crew look after you! 🥨🍺🏆🥪🌮🇨🇦
