The Leir House in Penticton is a true hidden gem! This beautifully maintained heritage site has a spacious unfenced yard with picnic tables open to the public, making it a perfect community space to relax, enjoy lunch, or hang out. The house itself is stunning and full of history, and the property is always well cared for. They also host unique late-night local art auctions twice a year i believe, which adds something special to the Penticton arts scene. It’s family-friendly, easy to find near Main Street, and overall a peaceful, welcoming spot that’s full of character definitely worth a visit.

Had a Christmas Craft Fair at Lier House. It was both enjoyable and the people were very friendly. I recommend Leir House for craft shows.

Loved talking to the artists about there passion. So many talented artists in Penticton! There was a full range of disciplines from pottery to wool felting to art from found objects. George Traicheff's stone lithographs are very impressive in their complexity.
