I always give 5 stars when everything on my plate was delicious. I visited this restaurant. When I walked in I noticed that the restaurant was clean. There were people sitting at the table enjoying their meal. I was greeted by all of the staff. I order baked chicken, with a side of gravy, green beans and pinto beans, cornbread and koolaid. My lunch date had the Cajun pasta, corn and Mac cheese. I tasted everything on his plate lol. Everything was delicious. No wait time. However, they did tell me that they have a fried menu that consists of pork chops, lamb chops, wings and catfish. They cook to order. Expect to wait 10- 15 mins. It was a good and reasonable price for the amount of food received. I didn’t get and dessert. I saw peach cobbler, cake and banana pudding. I would go back to this restaurant again. They also cater!!

Family of 5 ordered 3 smoked and 2 smothered oxtail plates. Everything was delicious 😋
Well seasoned, tender, and filling. Almost decided not to go based on service reviews, but so glad we did. We were greeted upon entry, menu was explained, and everyone was courteous.

Today a client treated me to lunch at this establishment. I got the turkey wings over rice, sweet potatoes, black eye peas and corn bread. Also have a cup of kool-aid and a huge slice of chocolate cake. Everything was hands down the best soul food on this side of town. I litterly have enough food for 2 days. Will definitely visit again.
