We had a wonderful stay at Balay Tuko Inn. The staff are truly amazing—very warm, attentive, and welcoming. The ambiance is great, with beautiful greenery, an outdoor garden area, and a very relaxing atmosphere.

Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was especially cozy. Breakfast was delicious and well-prepared. We also appreciated the indoor pool, which guests can freely use.

One of the highlights was the peaceful environment—birds outside in the morning and very friendly, human-oriented cats and dogs that made the stay even more special. Overall, a lovely place to relax and unwind. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay in this resort.
The environment (garden) is beautiful. The staff and owners are super friendly. The rooms are large, very clean and comfortable, with a very good shower (rare in Puerto Princesa), smart tv and noiseless airco.
There is large pool (half indoors).
The breakfast is delicious, good toasted bread, organic eggs, big portion of bacon, real coffee…
All that for a very reasonable price.
Additionally, you can order a shuttle to the busstation or airport.
They also have motorbike rental service with the bike brought to the hotel.
It's locate in a quite neighbourhood, close to the Robinsons Place mall.
Balay Tuko Garden Inn is the perfect place to start your Palawan trip.

Big surprise, we expected just another Airport Hotel but this place is a cut above;
Beautiful peaceful gardens, waking to birdsong and green nature.

Hot shower, good air con, AND fan. Comfy beds and pillows. Decent wifie and tv if needed for later evening viewing.

Large covered swimming pool is amazing to freshen up. Breakfast is decent and all in a peaceful country feel place.

We are going back for sure and I'd recommend this place not just for a one night airport stop but as a decent base to see the area and retreat to seclusion in the evenings.

They have an array of animals including two super cool.little.dogs, cats and birds.
Take the recommendation of 'ka Joel's' restaurants, you won't be disappointed, exceptional eating experience.

Must forget to mention the super efficient, friendly and kind staff, who ensure the wheels stay well oiled. Exceptional.

UPDATE: After what was, in reality, a truly dis-appointing five day trip to 'hell-nido', we have returned to Balay Tuko Garden Inn and are currently enjoying an extended stay, a 'home from home'. Replenishing. Question is, will we ever leave?!!
