You can scan documents and fwd to your email address no cost. I was travelling and stopped at staples they want $.90 per page. But with my library card from Sudbury they allowed and provided the courtesy to can highly sensitive legal documents for free. I love the libraries in Toronto and Sudbury and especially the courteous staff in Barrie.

I recently visited the Barrie Public Library's Painswick branch for a work event, and I was thoroughly impressed. The people in the community are fantastic, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The library itself is in an ideal location with plenty of parking available. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and made the experience even better. The library is clean, well-organized, and a great place to visit.

Bright, peaceful, and well-organized, this library is my go-to spot in Barrie. It offers a great selection of books, cozy reading areas, and plenty of quiet space to work or study. The staff are always kind and helpful, and there are often community activities or displays that make each visit feel special. Even though I sometimes stop by the downtown branch, this one feels like home. A true gem for anyone who loves libraries or just needs a calm place to focus.
