We hired the Elwin room for a 60th birthday party this weekend 7th Feb. The team at the BRLSI were great in helping to make sure all was remembered to set the room up for a great night. We had 80 guests, with so many of them commenting how lovely it was to be in such a grand building with beautiful Georgian features. I highly recommend the space, plenty of room for dancing, seating and great socialising – just like the Georgians I guess! There's no bar facility, so it was BYO (Bring Your Own). We hired in some live music and had a night that will live in the memory for many years to come. Thanks to your team again!

Whilst the exhibit itself is excellent and informative, I’d like to give a special shoutout to Chris who gave additional information and discussion about the history of the building and surrounding area with much enthusiasm. It is always great to hear people speak passionately about a subject and Chris is exactly that.
Also, it houses a 4.1 billion year old meteor fragment for a healthy dose of existential wonder.

I've just hosted a 3 day corporate meeting at the BRLSI. Everyone loved the venue. The beautiful high ceiling and huge windows make for a very pleasant environment in which to work. The screen worked well and unusually the HDMI cable was set up sensibly (which I wish was true of all meeting rooms). Oh, and we had a dinosaur skeleton on the wall, how cool is that! We'll definitely be back!
