Had a lovely meal here. Very cold day & it was nice to go into a pub that had a fire going, made a great atmosphere. My husband had the mixed grill & I had a Halloumi sizzler. Both meals came out piping hot & were very tasty.
The pub is dog (& child) friendly, so next time I will bring the dog in, when we’re out for a brisk walk.
Staff were busy but still helpful.

We went to christen our three month old in the church next door, and so booked a family meal at the blue bell to follow. It was our first time there, we were a little early but we were greeted by the owner Andy and family; who were all very nice and chatty. They kindly let us in early and made us all feel extremely welcome, very nice people. The food was delicious. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

My second review after I won their carvery competition on social media. Fresh and delicious food as always! The beef was cooked perfectly and although I don't eat potato there was plenty of alternatives. Generous portion for the medium option. Lovely meal that also included a free drink. For dessert we had biscoff cheesecake & cream which was also delcious! Staff very tentative. As always highly recommend!
