Just visited Blue Oak Brewery to meet a long-time friend visiting from Michigan, and it was an amazing experience! The moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and full of energy.
We sampled a wide variety of beers — from crisp lagers to hoppy IPAs — and every single one impressed us. You can really tell they care about quality and craft. The bartender went above and beyond, even taking a few minutes to give us a quick behind-the-scenes tour, which made the visit even more special.
Before leaving, we grabbed a bunch of cans to take back to Michigan — that’s how much we loved it! If you’re in San Carlos CA. and enjoy great beer, friendly people, and a welcoming vibe, Blue Oak Brewery is a must-visit.

Was visiting my buddy Nick. We looked at what local breweries had the best food truck. Last night Blue Oak won. Live music, great beer, excellent food truck. I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

Amazing little local brew. I live across the street and I definitely come here WAY too much, especially since they started their buck off Mondays
It's located behind an industrial alley but trust me it's back there. They got a handful of sours and I love all of them so much. The IPAs are solid, the lager is refreshing as always, and the seltzer is actually delicious. If you order a 10oz you can get a beer for 4 bucks so I'm always down for that. There's usually a food truck or little pop up stand selling burritos and tacos. The outdoor area is a vibe and that's usually where everyone hangs out. This place is quiet during the weekdays but on the weekend it's the spot!
