I really like it, big area, helpful staff, and part of it is a mini-museum which I love!
I see some reviews mention it's not the same as before, I can't quite comment on that as I haven't been to this Library much – but I was quite happy.
I do think their selection of books is a tad limited. It's a large library, but not very dense.

Big spacious space and really warm with enough computers for everyone.

Unfortunately if you want to use the toilets, you have to pack up and go to the Glades, not even to the theatre next door.

You have to be a registered user to print anything or use the computers. If you are visiting the area and want to print something quickly, forget it.

Its not like Better libraries in other boroughs where they give non registered users at least 20-30 minutes to print.

Would be really convenient if the private reading
spaces upstairs also had sockets for laptops and USB ports for charging phones.

    Adios.

My daughter goes there to try and revise for her GCSEs with her friend… You'd think that it would be somewhere quiet, with a librarian who keeps the peace like a warrior would a sacred temple, so people can do work, read and learn… But the play area is just there in the open and a few times there have been a lot of noise from children and adults there. Today, it's 1 kid who's being really loud and disturbing everyone there. Staff had to go talk to mum, but seems like nothing is happening.

I understand the need for libraries to stay relevant to the community in order to stay open… But, the people who go there want peace and quiet to read or work. The play area should be self contained to reduce noise disturbance to every one else. Those people will look at other options if they can't use the Library for its intended purpose.
