Bulaong Bus Terminal in General Santos City is a bustling transportation hub that serves as a gateway to various destinations in Mindanao. The terminal itself is quite spacious, with numerous bus companies operating from there, offering a wide range of routes and schedules to choose from.
The terminal building has undergone some renovations, and now boasts a more modern look and feel. The waiting areas are fairly comfortable, with ample seating and even some food stalls for those looking for a quick bite or refreshment. However, it can get quite crowded during peak hours, and the air conditioning sometimes struggles to keep up with the heat and humidity.
The restrooms are also relatively clean and well-maintained, which is a welcome relief for travelers.
Overall, Bulaong Bus Terminal is a decent transportation hub that serves its purpose well. It could benefit from further improvements in terms of crowd management and air conditioning, but it is definitely a step up from its previous state. Whether you're heading to nearby cities or venturing further afield, this terminal is a convenient starting point for your journey.

This is a decent public transport facility: busy, orderly, safe, and clean. This is my first time to take the Tupi to Davao road trip, transferring to a non-stop Davao bound bus at Bulaong Terminal in General Santos.
There are at least two companies using this terminal: Yellow Bus Line and Mindanao Star. I was instructed to use the Yellow Bus because it's more reliable, I ended up taking Mindanao Star for the Tupi-General leg of the trip, then Yellow Bus Line the rest of the way General Santos-Davao City.
The advice was spot on. For some reason in the first part of my trip, the Mindanao Star bus was getting bypassed by other buses. I was puzzled because it was 05:00 and there was no one else on the road. The Yellow Bus I took from General Santos to Davao was clean and efficient, I got there in about 2.5 hours at around just past 08:00!

Many bus routes from GenSan to everywhere, even Visayas and Luzon. But it gets too crowded during rush hours, lalo na pag Friday at Saturday. Needs expansion and renovation.
