I was a guest at this hotel in 2012 while traveling around the Philippines with my parents. Beautiful, historic hotel and friendly staff. Walking distance to all the sights and attractions in Vigan. We stayed in the family room with a loft that sleeps 4 or 5 people (mattresses laid on floor, comfy enough). My parents slept in the bed on the main level, and I was alone in the loft. There are no lights that directly light the loft portion, just the lighting that illuminates the stairs going up to the loft. Honestly, I felt scared sleeping there by myself. As some have described the hotel, there was definitely a creepy vibe. I felt like I was being watched when I turned off the stair lighting. I ended up leaving it on for the night. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay and I'd probably stay again.

*four star* hotel, tho for the international crowd, this does not mean all rooms are 4 star, a star rating is supposed to be for the entire hotel, not selected rooms only, so keep this in mind.
That being said, the room is decent for the price but far from a 4 star rating, and breakfast is included ofcourse, smoking is allowed in the courtyard/parking area for the smokers out there

Great Hotel right in the heart of the world Heritage listed buildings. Recomend thisplace we stayed twice up and down as we were so impressed with the service. The rooms were spacious. We had taken the family rooms on both occasioms easily accomodate 8persons in room 15 and 17. Breakfast inluded for 5 persons over that you have to pay per person. This was a good breakfast. Plenty of places to eat around therel that will suit every ones budget.
