Civil Service Club @ Changi II still has that classic “Aloha Changi” resort vibe — quiet, laid-back and surrounded by greenery. It’s one of those places where you instantly feel like you’re far away from the city even though you’re still in Singapore.

The chalets are pretty spacious, especially compared to the usual commercial ones. They’re not ultra-modern, but they’re clean and have that rustic, old-school Changi beach charm. Good for big families, BBQ sessions, or just chilling with friends. The outdoor areas are great for walking around, and the sea breeze is actually pretty solid here because it’s so open.

Location-wise, it’s a bit *ulu* unless you drive. Public transport is possible but not super convenient, so plan ahead. On the bright side, the quietness makes the whole place feel peaceful — you don’t get crowds or noise like the typical chalet areas.

Service is decent; staff tend to be friendly and helpful if you need anything. Facilities aren’t super high-end, but everything important works, and the grounds are well-maintained.

Overall:
Great for a retreat, chill staycation, or gatherings. Not the most modern chalet, but the atmosphere and space make up for it.

Overall experience compared to the other chalets that I have been to, this is by far the best because it has an exceptional view. Its not too hot, very windy and definitely very comfortable. I would come back to CSC II again for my next event.

Our recent 2-night stay at Changi Cottage was absolutely wonderful. The unit was impeccably maintained, and we were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service provided by all staff, from reception, housekeeping to security. Their dedication and professionalism were evident, and it was clear they take great pride in caring for their guests. Waking up to the stunning, unobstructed sea view each morning was a highlight.
